“The Last Black Man in San Francisco” was one of the standouts at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it won two major prizes. It stars a newcomer named Jimmie Fails, playing a loosely fictionalized version of himself in a delicate and heartrending story of friendship, community and the yearning for home.
