Man stabbed to death on Lancaster’s Division Street

A man was found stabbed to death with at least one wound to the mid-torso area Thursday morning in Lancaster, authorities said.

The incident was reported at 12:45 a.m. in the 44700 Block of Division Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

When sheriff’s department Homicide Bureau detectives arrived, they found the stabbed man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Detectives initially headed to Division Street on a call for an assault with a deadly weapon, sheriff’s department officials said.

There is no suspect information or motive, and the investigation is continuing, officials said.
