An Orange County man who claims he found two dead geckos in his can of beer is suing Heineken.
George Toubbeh, 49, states in his lawsuit that he became violently ill and went to the emergency room in August 2015 after drinking from a 24-ounce Heineken he bought at a Ralphs in Fountain Valley. He said that the beer had a foul taste and his daughter claims she later found two dead leopard geckos in the can.
The geckos were not decomposed and were likely alive when they were sealed into the can, according to the lawsuit.
Heineken could not be reached for comment. The Kroger Company, which owns Ralphs, is also named in the suit.

John Montevideo, an attorney representing Toubbeh, said that the after the incident the family brought the beer can to his office. Pictures of the can and the geckos can be viewed below.
