Cabrera homered off Dodgers fifth-starter candidate Hyun-Jin Ryu with two out in the first inning and Sanchez took Ryu deep in the fourth inning after Matt Davidson‘s two-out single.

In the sixth inning, Frazier’s leadoff double off Brandon Morrow was cashed in by Davidson’s sacrifice fly. Frazier homered in the eighth off Minor Leaguer Andrew Istler.

Holland was charged with two runs in six innings, with one strikeout and two walks. Ryu allowed three runs on five hits with four strikeouts and no walks in five innings.

White Sox reliever Jake Petricka left the game after a line drive off the bat of Scott Van Slyke drilled his pitching hand in the eighth inning.

White Sox Up Next: The real action, pitching-wise, for the White Sox on Tuesday takes place in the morning on the Minor League side, where Jose Quintana, Nate Jones and David Robertson will be throwing. Minor Leaguer Chris Volstad will start in Surprise against the Royals, with Zack Burdi and Michael Ynoa also scheduled to throw for a first pitch of 3:05 p.m. CT, live on MLB.TV.

Dodgers Up Next: In split-squad games on Tuesday, Julio Urias will start for the Dodgers against San Diego at Camelback Ranch-Glendale and Alex Wood will start against the Reds at Goodyear. Urias probably will begin the season in extended spring training, while Wood is competing with Ryu for the fifth-starter spot.
