BURBANK — A 49-year-old Burbank firefighter who died this month will be buried today in Corona, and 150 members of the Burbank Fire Department will form a procession as they travel to his funeral services.

The procession to Riverside County for Ken Anderson, a 23-year firefighter/paramedic, will begin at 9:30 a.m., according to the Burbank Fire Department.

Anderson died on March 11 from a stroke/cerebral hemorrhage, according to the website of the International Association of Fire Fighters, the union to which Anderson belonged.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to expect delays as East Orange Grove Avenue between North Glenoaks Boulevard and North Third Street will be closed beginning at 8:30 a.m. as fire department vehicles assemble, Sugars said.

With so many department personnel participating in the funeral procession and attending the services, firefighters from surrounding departments will help staff stations in Burbank, Sugars said.
