Months after claiming his innocence, the father of a 5-year-old boy who was missing is expected to plead guilty Tuesday, according to numerous sources.

Aramazd Andressian Sr., 35, is accused of killing Aramazd “Piqui”Andressian Jr. as a way to get back at his estranged wife. The couple were in the midst of a divorce and custody battle over Andressian Jr.

Dozens of volunteers searched for Andressian Jr. around LA county and Santa Barbara. The boy’s remains were found June 30 near the Lake Cachuma Recreation Area in Santa Barbara County, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators believe the boy was killed April 21 after a trip to Disneyland. Surveillance footage captured Andressian Sr. and Andressian Jr. leaving the park around 1 a.m. The following day, the youngster’s father was found unconscious at Arroyo Seco Park in South Pasadena, unable to recall the whereabouts of his son.
