WASHINGTON — Tickets for potential Dodgers postseason home games at Dodger Stadium for the National League Wild Card Game, NL Division Series and NL Championship Series will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT, the team announced on Friday.
Postseason tickets will be available both online at dodgers.com/postseason and at the Dodger Stadium box office. The NL Wild Card Game will be on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and the best-of-five NLDS begins on Friday, Oct. 6. The best-of-seven NLCS starts on Saturday, Oct. 14, and the World Series starts on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
For all potential postseason games, tickets are not purchased for a specific date, but for a corresponding home game in each postseason round. Game times will be announced at a later date.
Subscribers to Dodger Newsletters will have the opportunity to participate in the Dodgers’ Registered Users presale and have access to potential postseason tickets before they go on sale to the public on Wednesday. To register, visit dodgers.com/postseason.
Hernandez not with team
The Dodgers are without outfielder Enrique Hernandez, who returned to his native Puerto Rico after learning of the death of his grandfather.
“I’m not sure if he’ll be back by Sunday,” manager Dave Roberts said of Hernandez, who flew with the club to Washington for a connecting flight to the Caribbean.
The Nationals are starting right-handed pitchers in each of the three games, and Hernandez generally starts in left field only against left-handed pitching, as he did Wednesday night in San Francisco against lefty Matt Moore.
